Spring

Again it's been a while since the last post (could be a pattern here), and of course a few good things have happend since last time. We finally managed to tag our PHP framework as stable v1.0.

It's been a lot of fun, and very rewarding to make it, and I'm really looking forward to seeing how it progresses through the summer with the ideas that we have. Our framework is not really a page by page CMS type system, but rather a framework for making applications. So of course, at least for now, the BACK/FORWARD button in the browser is broken. Obviously, the framework has been made with call-center applications in mind, but is not limited to that. Right now we are working hard on integration with our two predictive dialers, and the IVR. Maybe I'm biased, but I think we have a killer product!

Got myself a trip to Norway again in the end of March, and I must say I hate the airports and the transfers. I only do it about every 5 or 6 weeks, so I'm nothing compared to the busy traveller. I think I would flip.
Norway during the spring is really nice, and that week it was actually warmer in Notodden, than in Gatteo A Mare...

Speaking of warm, because these days it's been picking up. And today is another wonderful day. The German tourists have started pouring in as well... Was walking along the beach the other day, and there were quite a lot of people.





In closing, I just want to say that I believe that your work environment will affect the quality of your work. I finally got my office sorted (still missing some color and maybe some art). I'm starting to get really happy about it, and it's very comfortable...
